Workshop on “Internet of Things” by MCA
With an aim to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of IoT, its real-world applications, and its increasing relevance across industries, the Vidya Computer Applications Association (ViCA) successfully conducted a workshop on “Internet of Things (IoT)” exclusively for S2 MCA students. The session was led by Jackson Joju (S2 MCA) and Alvina Roy (S2 MCA) demonstrated commendable knowledge and enthusiasm in the domain of IoT.
Highlights of the Workshop:
- Introduction to the Basics of IoT and its Architecture
- Exploration of various Real-world Applications of IoT
- Practical Demonstrations to enhance understanding through hands-on experience
Jackson and Alvina adopted an interactive approach, engaging the participants through discussions and live demonstrations. Their efforts created an enriching learning environment that allowed students to grasp complex concepts with clarity.
The session held on 21 February 2025 was well-received by the participants, who actively interacted and participated in the practical exercises. The Q&A session at the end provided an opportunity for students to clarify doubts and delve deeper into IoT-related topics. The initiative and delivery by the student presenters were highly appreciated, reflecting their technical acumen and leadership qualities.
