Vidya NSS Volunteers honored with state-level awards for Voluntary Blood Donations

The unwavering commitment of NSS volunteers to the life-saving cause of voluntary blood donation has been widely recognized, earning them several prestigious awards

It was a proud moment for the NSS units of Vidya Academy of Science & Technology, Thrissur, as three of their volunteers were honoured with prestigious state-level individual awards by the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (APJAKTU) NSS Blood Cell – Rudhirasena for the academic year 2024–25.

These accolades were conferred during the Rudhirasena State Annual Meet held on 15 June 2025 at UKF College of Engineering and Technology, Kollam. The event brought together NSS leaders and volunteers from across Kerala to celebrate excellence in community service.

This recognition highlights the culture of empathy, responsibility, and active citizenship nurtured by the NSS units of Vidya and reinforces the college’s ongoing commitment to fostering socially conscious future leaders.
