NSS organizes paper pen making activity in observance of World Environment Day

As part of promoting environmental sustainability and in connection with World Environment Day, the NSS volunteers of Vidya organized a paper pen making activity on 02 June 2025. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about eco-friendly alternatives to plastic and to encourage the adoption of sustainable materials in daily life.

The activity was coordinated and guided by Nandhana K S (S4, EEE Dept), Benitta B B (S4 ECE Dept) and Chanjal Chandran (S4, CSE Dept). Under their leadership, the volunteers actively engaged in crafting 48 paper pens using recycled paper and minimal plastic components.

The event was conducted with the support of Mr. Ranjith E R (NSS Program Officer, Asst Prof, ME Dept) and Ms. Delmy David V (NSS Program Officer, Asst Prof, CSE Dept). whose encouragement and guidance were instrumental in the successful execution of the activity.
