EEE Faculty Members publish research paper in ICTACT Journal on Microelectronics (IJME)

Journals play a crucial role in the exchange of knowledge, allowing researchers to share original work and breakthroughs with the world.
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is delighted to share the successful publication of a research paper titled “Enhancing Intelligent Connectivity through Embedded IoT Systems for Real-Time Applications” authored by Ms. Anooja V. S (Asst Prof, EEE Dept) and Mr. Krishnakumar M (Asst Prof, EEE Dept) in the reputed ICTACT Journal on Microelectronics (IJME) – April 2025 Issue | DOI: 10.21917/ijme.2025.0348  Download PDF: Click to Download

The research presents a hybrid edge-cloud IoT framework integrating TinyML, MQTT protocol, and optimized embedded devices like Raspberry Pi 4 and ESP32 for real-time data processing and communication. The system addresses major limitations in connectivity, latency, and energy consumption across smart domains.

The study validates the system’s applicability in healthcare, agriculture, industrial automation, and smart environments, promoting scalable and responsive embedded IoT solutions.

The News & Events Editorial Team joins the entire Vidya fraternity in extending heartiest  congratulations to  Ms  Anooja  and  Mr. Krishnakumar on this notable achievement that highlights impactful research and nurturing innovation in addressing real-world challenges and affirms the system’s relevance  and smart environments !!!
