His impactful words highlighted the importance of sustainability and youth participation in community development. The project was spearheaded by Mr. Ramweer Tanwar , a visionary young leader who was inspired to take action. He, along with his team of “Water Buddies,” initiated a movement rooted in the philosophy of “all around water management.” The project’s core belief was that a holistic approach, which included not just cleaning but also education and community ownership, was essential for long-term success.Mr. Ramweer’s personal story, as “one of five siblings from the first family in the 10th grade” to join the effort, resonated with many and helped build a groundswell of support. It was a testament to the power of a single family to spark a wider movement. Eschewing the need for formal qualifications, the team’s motto became “collaborate without a drawing degree.” They partnered with various educational institutions, invoking the spirit of ancient centers of learning like “Nalanda” and “Thakshasila,” to symbolize a new, practical “ideal educational system in Kerala. |
|
The guest of honor, Mr Sohan Roy (entrepreneur, filmmaker, and CEO of Aries Group of Companies) emphasized the fundamental importance of time. He believes that traditional academic structures often fail to teach the practicalities of right industry practices. By integrating hands-on experience and real-world projects with academic coursework, institutions can help students develop a better sense of time management and efficiency. He proposes that this can be achieved through various clubs and filmmaking projects, which are his areas of expertise. Through these activities, students can learn to manage deadlines, collaborate effectively, and produce high-quality work within strict time constraints, mirroring the reality of a professional setting |
