Induction Training Programme 2025 helps to orient students and parents to the academic framework, institutional policies, and co-curricular opportunities, while emphasizing the role of parental support in fostering holistic student development and ensuring a smooth transition into college life. Induction Training Programme 2025 for first year B Tech students was organized from 11-25 August 2025 to familiarize parents and students with the academic requirements, institutional policies, and the importance of parental involvement in supporting student development. The program commenced with an inauguration ceremony on 11 August 2025, marking the official start of a series of sessions designed to guide students and parents through the academic and co-curricular journey at the institution. As part of the academic orientation, sessions on Mathematics Fundamentals were conducted during 14-23 August 2025, aimed at reinforcing foundational concepts and preparing students for their engineering curriculum. The program also emphasized student well-being alongside academics. Mr. O A Babu (Sub-Inspector (Retd)) conducted a session on Traffic Awareness on 25 August 2025,sensitizing students to road safety, responsible behavior, and the role of youth in reducing accidents. A session on Suicide Prevention and Stress Management was held on 25 August 2025 by a team of doctors led by Dr. Sruthy C M (Amala Medical College) The session focused on promoting mental health awareness and provided students with effective strategies to manage stress and maintain emotional well-being Mr. Paul J. Chackola (Head, Placement and Training) conducted a session on career opportunities that guided students on exploring career opportunities and understanding the job market.The session equipped students to navigate prospective career options and gain a clear understanding of the employment landscape. ‘Library Orientation Session’, led by Mr. Girish Kumar P C (Librarian), familiarized students and faculty with the library’s e-resources, services, borrowing rules, and catalog navigation, emphasizing the effective utilization of available academic resources. He showcased the importance of e-resources, including e-books and e-journals, and provided a comprehensive overview of library services. The sessions with alumni, organized by each department, enabled students to gain practical knowledge, develop relevant skills, and build valuable professional connections.Serving as a platform for engagement, the sessions helped students connect with alumni and explore various prospects for learning and career advancement. A comprehensive campus tour was arranged, showcasing all facilities including laboratories, libraries, and other key infrastructure. The students’ lively cultural displays, featuring dance, vocal performances, and orchestra, provided a visual and auditory treat for all attendees.
