AIML faculty member serves as resource person for ‘AI Talk : Machine Thought’”

The AIML Dept extends its support in delivering talks designed to introduce students to the fascinating world of Artificial Intelligence — covering foundational concepts, real-world applications, and ethical considerations — while also exploring ‘Machine Thought’ and the emerging cyber threats associated with AI.”

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) in association with the NSS Unit of Thiruvalayannur Higher Secondary School, organized an enlightening session titled “AI Talk: Machine Thought” on 29 September 2025.

The session was led by Mr. Nisanth P (Asst Prof, AIML Dept)  who served as the resource person. Mr. Nisanth captivated the audience through interactive discussions,illustrating how machines “think” using algorithms and data. He also shed light on emerging cyber threats and frauds associated with AI technologies, including deepfakes, automated phishing, and data privacy concerns, encouraging students to use technology responsibly.

The event was co-ordinated by Ms. Riya Roy (Asst Prof, AIML Dept) and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students. The session successfully inspired young minds to explore Artificial Intelligence with curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong sense of ethics.
