To celebrate International Day of the Girl Child 2025, which falls on 11 October 2025, Vidya Women Empowerment Cell (VWEC), in association with Institution of Engineers (India) [IE(I)], organized an Extempore Competition “RISE – Resilience, Inspiration, Strength & Empowerment” on 10 October 2025, exclusively for the girl students of Vidya. |
The competition, held on the topic “Empowerment Under Pressure: Girls Leading Advocacy and Upholding Rights During Humanitarian Crises,” aligned with the 2025 global theme “The Girl I Am, The Change I Lead: Girls on the Frontlines of Crisis” inspiring participants to reflect on the leadership, strength, and resilience of girls who champion advocacy and drive social change amid humanitarian crises. |
