Hands-on Workshop on Python Django by MCA Alumnus
The MCA department of vidya academy of science & technology, under the banner of ViCA (vidya computer applications association), conducts several activities to provide students with real-world experiences.The Dept, under the auspices of ViCA (Vidya Computer Applications Association), organized a hands-on session on “Python Django – Project Development” on 25 August 2025
The resource person for the session was Mr. Jeevan Varghese (2022–24 Batch,MCA) who is currently pursuing his Masters in Security and Network Engineering at the University of Amsterdam.
Mr. Jeevan provided practical insights into Python Django, guiding students through the process of project development using the framework. The session covered key aspects of web application development, best practices, and industry-relevant approaches, helping students strengthen their technical skills.
The workshop was highly interactive, with participants gaining valuable hands-on experience and clarity on real-world project development. The presence of an alumnus as the speaker added an extra layer of motivation for the current students, showcasing the heights that Vidya MCA graduates can achieve.
