Internship completed at Inker Robotic Solutions Pvt. Ltd by AIML Students

Vidya provides various platforms to gain practical exposure to modern software development and robotics applications by working on real-world scenarios.

O Varadha Vijay Menon (S7, AIML Dept) and Cilla E J (S7, AIML Dept) completed an internship at Inker Robotic Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Thrissur, Kerala, under the supervision of Mr. Amith Raman (Chief Executive Officer, Inker Robotic Solutions Pvt. Ltd) from 01 August 2025 – 22 September 2025. Inker Robotics has officially signed a Distributor and Educational Partnership Agreement with Arduino, marking a significant milestone in their journey toward advancing robotics education and innovation.

The primary objectives of the internship were to gain practical experience in developing software systems using modern web technologies, understand the workflow of an intelligent restaurant management system, explore the integration of robotics in practical applications, and enhance both technical and interpersonal skills through industrial exposure.

During the internship, Varadha and Cilla actively contributed to the development of the Intelligent Restaurant Management System. They  responsible for managing the restaurant queue module to ensure efficient operations and built various components of the system using React and Node.js. Additionally, they conducted testing and debugging activities for the assigned modules to maintain smooth functionality. The internship also included participation in industrial visits, which provided broader insights into the practical applications of robotics.

Throughout the internship, Varadha and Cilla acquired significant technical knowledge, including hands-on experience in full-stack development and understanding AI and robotics integration in real-world systems.  Beyond technical skills, the internship helped to improve their analytical abilities, teamwork, and interpersonal communication. Their performance was highly appreciated by the organization.
