NSS Volunteers digitize and organize Library at Choondal Grameena Vayanashala – Phase 2
With an aim to digitally document and systematically organize the library’s collection, enhancing accessibility and effective management for its users, National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Vidya successfully organized and executed the second phase of library data entry and organization activity at Choondal Grameena Vayanashala on 02 September 2025.

Total NSS Volunteers Involved: 25
During the session, volunteers meticulously entered details of over 3000 books, ensuring accuracy, completeness and consistency in the digital records. In addition to data entry, the volunteers organized the books on the shelves, optimizing the library’s layout for easier navigation and improved usability for readers.
The activity was efficiently coordinated under the leadership of NSS Volunteer Secretaries: Sonu Sunny (S5, ME Dept), Anamika Sebastian (S5, ECE Dept), and Godwin C Baiju (S5, ME Dept). The event was conducted under the guidance and support of Mr. Rajesh S K (NSS Program Officer, Asso Prof, EEE Dept) and Ms. Delmy David V (NSS Program Officer, Asst Prof, CE Dept).
