Technical Talk on “Role of Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing” highlights Mechanical Engineering Association Day

The Mechanical Engineering Department Association has continually fostered student growth and collaboration through a series of technical talks, alumni sessions, seminars, and workshops since its inception.

The Dept of Mechanical Engineering, celebrated its Association Day on 22 September 2025.The event was inaugurated by Mr. Mansoor P. K.,General Manager (Engineering and Marketing), Steel and Industrial Forgings Ltd. (A Govt. of Kerala Undertaking), who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

As part of the celebration, a technical talk on the topic “Role of Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing” was conducted, which stood out as the highlight of the day. The session delved into how AI technologies are transforming the manufacturing sector through automation, predictive maintenance, process optimization, and quality enhancement.
