Active participation of CE Dept faculty members in ICEC technical session
The Dept of Civil Engineering enhances its understanding of concrete as a designed construction material by attending various sessions, focusing on innovative technologies and sustainable practices in modern civil engineering.
Continuing Vidya’s tradition of academic engagement and professional development, Dr. Abilasha P.S. (HoD, CE Dept) and Ms Nirmala Krishnan (Asst Prof, CE Dept) participated in a technical session organized by the Integrated Civil Engineers Council (ICEC) on “Concrete – An Enigmatic Designed Construction Material.”
The session was conducted on 25 September 2025 by Er. Shyju Nair (CEO,DH Academy). The session emphasized the importance of advanced material design and sustainable practices in modern civil engineering. It served as an excellent knowledge-sharing platform for professionals and academicians to explore the latest trends and innovations in concrete technology.
