Vidya EEE Dept conducts KSEB Power Quiz with KSEB Association
The Department of EEE has been conducting quiz competitions over the past years aimed at enhancing students’ knowledge and awareness in the field of power and energy systems, while providing them with an interactive platform to apply their learning beyond the classroom.
The KSEB Power Quiz was organized at the EEE Department of Vidya , in association with Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) Association.The quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from first-year and second-year EEE students, making it an engaging and educational experience.
The quiz session was conducted by the KSEB team, comprising Ms. Sindhu K. K. (Asst Executive Engineer, Electrical Sub Division, Kechery) and her team members Ms. Suchitha M. K.(Sub Engineer, DB Section) and Mr. Akshay Kumar (Sub Engineer, DB Section). Their expertise and lively engagement added immense value to the session.

The first and second prize winners have been selected to participate in the sub-district level competition, scheduled to be held in December 2025. The prizes were distributed by Mr. Jayan (Prof, EEE Dept).
Ms. Sheeja G (Asst Prof, EEE Dept) efficiently coordinated between the students and KSEB officials, ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the programme. The event was wholeheartedly supported by Dr. Mary P. Varghese (HoD, EEE Dept) and all faculty members of the department.
The KSEB Power Quiz served as an enriching opportunity for students to explore and test their technical knowledge in the power sector while promoting industry–academia collaboration. The event successfully inspired students to stay informed and innovative in the evolving field of electrical and energy systems.
