EEE Dept conducts Orientation & Appreciation Ceremony at PSM VHSS Kattoor

Representing the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Ms. Anooja V. S (Asst. Prof – Sr. Grade) and Ms. Neenu Thomas (Asst. Prof – Sel. Grade) led the session, engaging students through insightful discussions on various higher education pathways and competitive examinations.

The speakers addressed crucial aspects related to career planning after Plus Two, including:

1. Importance of appearing for KEAM Entrance Examination
   Students were encouraged to attempt the KEAM exam to unlock opportunities in government and self-financing engineering colleges.
2. Awareness on National-Level Entrance Tests – NEET & JEE
   The resource persons explained the scope, eligibility, and preparation strategies for NEET and JEE, emphasizing their significance for admission to top-tier institutions.
3. Overview of Arts & Science Degree Programmes
   A detailed introduction to diverse academic streams was provided, enabling students to explore multiple career options beyond engineering and medicine.
4. Achieving High Scores in Board Examinations
   The session stressed the need for consistency, disciplined preparation, and focused study habits to excel in board exams.
