AVA honours the past, empowers the present, and inspires the future at the AGM and Alumni Meet ‘Aternum’

| Annual General Body Meeting 2025 was successfully organized under the leadership of the Association of Vidya Alumni (AVA), with the objective of strengthening the bond between alumni and their alma mater, reconnecting former students, and celebrating their academic and professional achievements. |
| The gathering opened with a prayer, setting a peaceful and dignified tone for the event. Mr. Piyush (AVA Vice President) extended a warm and concise welcome to all the attendees.Mr Ajin Aravind (AVA Vice President) spoke on the occasion who shared his insightful thoughts, wisdom, and perspective on the significance of the occasion. The event was formally inaugurated by Dr Sunitha C (Principal), whose inspiring words added great value to the gathering.Ms Fetsy K Francis (AVA Secretary & Asst Prof, ECE Dept addressed the audience and presented the annual and financial reports. A newsletter showcasing the academic and professional accomplishments of alumni was released on the occasion. The event also witnessed the official certificate distribution ceremony recognizing the Canada Alumni Chapter, marking a significant milestone in AVA’s global outreach. Ms. Sheeja G (AVA Treasurer & Asst Prof, EEE Dept) proposed vote of thanks highlighting the importance of alumni engagement and collective growth. |

The programme was coordinated by alumni and faculty members Ms. Sheeja G (Asst Prof, EEE Dept) and Ms. Manjusha P D (Asst Prof, AIML Dept) under the leadership of Ms. Fetsy K Francis (Asst Prof, ECE Dept). |
| Interactive sessions formed a major highlight of the meeting, with participants openly sharing their experiences, insights, and perspectives. Active group discussions were conducted on various themes aligned with AVA’s vision, and valuable suggestions were invited to make the Association’s initiatives more efficient and sustainable. Following the completion of the previous term, the list of newly elected Executive Committee members was officially announced. |
| The event also featured a faculty felicitation ceremony and a special honouring of distinguished members of the 2015 batch in recognition of their notable achievements. |
| Reinforcing its commitment to environmental responsibility, alumni participated in a tree plantation drive on campus, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable practices. |
| The gathering was further enlivened by games and cultural programmes, adding vibrancy and enthusiasm to the occasion.The AVA Executive Committee members reaffirmed that the Association aims to provide comprehensive guidance to both current students and alumni, enabling them to confidently navigate the challenges of the evolving professional landscape. |
