MCA organizes Industry Interaction on “Unlocking the Power of APIs”

The Dept of Computer Applications takes active efforts to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry practices. Under the banner of the Vidya Computer Applications Association (ViCA), the Department organized an Industry Interaction session titled “Unlocking the Power of APIs: Connecting Applications in the Modern World” on 08 October 2025.

The session was handled by Mr. Falulul Abid (Managing Partner, Linkway Software Solutions (Oman | UAE | Saudi | India)). He shared valuable insights on the growing significance of APIs in modern software development, emphasizing their role in connecting applications, driving digital transformation, and enabling seamless data exchange across diverse platforms.

The Department of Computer Applications has an active MoU with Linkway Software Solutions, aimed at strengthening industry-academia collaboration through expert sessions, internships, and project-based learning. This session reflected the intent of the MoU, providing students with practical exposure to evolving industry practices and technological trends.

Students participated enthusiastically, gaining a deeper understanding of how APIs are redefining the modern software ecosystem. The event forms part of ViCA’s continuous initiatives to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world technological applications.
