Vidya Staff Club hosts farewell function to Ms Anu Maria

With the aim of expressing respect and heartfelt appreciation,Vidya Staff Club organized a reflective farewell gathering on  08 December 2025 to honour Ms. Anu Maria (Asst Prof , CE Dept).

The occasion marked significant milestones in their professional journeys. Ms. Arundhathi secured a prestigious government appointment as Asst Engineer,  proud and well-deserved achievement.Ms Anu, who joined Vidya on 04 Jully  2007, has made invaluable contributions to the academic and practical training ecosystem of Vidya.

The programme commenced with reflective opening remarks by Ms. Surabhi M. S. (Assistant Librarian), who warmly welcomed the gathering and highlighted the exceptional contributions of the honourees. The welcome address by Ms. Jemy Jose Kakkassery (Staff Club Secretary & (Asst Prof , ECE Dept) echoed deep appreciation for their service. Dr. Sunitha C. (Principal), in her address, acknowledged Ms. Anu’s transformative impact in nurturing excellence through technical education.

Dr. Mary P. Varghese (HoD , EEE Dept), Ms.Nirmala Krishnan (Asst Prof , CE Dept), Mr. Rajesh S K (Asso Prof , CE Dept), Mr Anil M (Asst Prof – Seln. Grade, ECE Dept), Mr Kiran Babu (Asst Prof , CE Dept), Ms Akhila K  (Asst Prof – Sr. Grade, EEE Dept) among others, shared heartfelt reflections highlighting her collective influence on holistic student development.

As a symbol of gratitude and admiration, Dr. Sunitha C. and Ms. Jemy Jose Kakkassery presented a meaningful memento to Ms Anu

Ms Anu reflected on her years of service, sharing insights drawn from experience and reaffirming his continued support for the Vidya community.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Vijayanarayanan ( Library Attendant)
