AIML Dept organizes Industry Interaction and Expert Talk

Guiding and preparing students for industry careers through exposure to emerging trends in Generative AI and its real-world applications is of paramount importance.In this context, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML), through the AIML Association, organized an Industry Interaction and Expert Talk for the students of S4 AIML on 08 November 2025.

The expert session was conducted by Mr. Sreehari G Varma (Tech Lead (L3), R&D – Generative AI and Robotics, Wipro Ltd., Bangalore).During the interaction, he shared valuable insights drawn from his extensive industry experience. The session focused on key topics such as Generative AI fundamentals,Agentic AI, Multi-Agent Systems and AI System Integration. These discussions enabled students to understand current industry expectations and the evolving role of AI technologies in modern enterprises.

The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in the question-and-answer segment, seeking clarity on career pathways, skill requirements, and future opportunities in the AI domain. The interaction enabled students to gain a clearer perspective on the competencies needed to excel in the competitive job market.

Mr. Paul Chakola (Head, Training & Placement) delivered a felicitation address and encouraged students to explore and master relevant AI technical platforms to enhance their employability and industry readiness.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Jeeva (HoD, AIML Dept) who expressed sincere gratitude to the guest speaker for sharing his expertise and valuable time. The session was a great success, and the students conveyed their appreciation to the department and the resource person for organizing such an informative and engaging industry-oriented programme.
