EEE faculty member presents paper at International Conference on Sustainable and Indigenous Technologies and Cultures
Ms. Neenu presented her paper titled “Ancient and Modern Sustainability Practices in India” at the International Conference on Sustainable and Indigenous Technologies and Cultures (Multidisciplinary) – 2025 (ICIT-2025). The conference was organized by the R&D Cell, IEDC, IIC, IKS Cell, and IQAC of St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur and was conducted on 02–03 December 2025.
The paper was presented under the thrust area “Nature and Ecology in Indian Traditions”, highlighting the relevance of traditional Indian sustainability practices alongside modern technological approaches. The study emphasized how indigenous knowledge systems can contribute meaningfully to contemporary sustainable development goals.
Faculty members, researchers, and academicians from various disciplines participated in the international conference, making it a vibrant platform for multidisciplinary academic exchange. Ms. Neenu Thomas was awarded a certificate of paper presentation, recognizing her contribution to sustainability-focused research and academic discourse.
