FDP on Transformative Artificial Intelligence: From Deep Learning to Agentic Intelligence
Vidya equips faculty members with advanced knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, spanning from deep learning foundations to large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic AI systems, while bridging the gap between academic theory and industry practice.
Vidya Academy of Science and Technology organized a six-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “Transformative AI: Deep Learning to Agentic Intelligence” from 29 December 2025 – 03 January 2026 in online mode.
The programme aimed to offer in-depth insights into deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and transformer architectures, while also giving hands-on exposure to large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic AI systems. Another key objective was to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry practices, enabling faculty to apply contemporary AI techniques effectively in research, teaching, and real-world applications
