| In a rare occurrence at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology, the College Magazine Release Ceremony was held without the presence of a designated student editor, marking an uncommon moment in the institution’s history. Despite this, eight student editors from various departments collaborated equally, sharing responsibilities and playing pivotal roles in the successful creation of the college magazine under the guidance of the College Magazine Committee, ‘Vidh Vangmay’. |
‘Vidh Vangmay’ hosted the College Magazine Release Ceremony on 21 January 2026,marking the unveiling of the college magazine “Sanskara” for the academic year 2024–25.The occasion celebrated not just the release of “Sanskara“, but also the shared passion and collaborative spirit of the student editorial team.The event opened with a warm welcome, followed by the magazine unveiling by Dr. Sunitha C (Principal). In a gesture rich with meaning, the magazine was cradled in a fresh plantain leaf adorned with rose petals.As the Principal gently lifted the magazine from the leaf, the moment stood as a powerful symbol of sustainability, tradition and mindful creation.Certificates of appreciation were awarded to the Editorial Board student members and to Adidyan (S8, CSE Dept) for his remarkable contributions beyond his official role.

K (S4 , ECE Dept) whose melodious solo and duet presentations set an inspiring tone for the event.The vibrant dance group D Addiction delivered an electrifying performance that left the audience spellbound. The show showcased a dynamic blend of contemporary, hip-hop, and classical fusion styles, highlighting the dancers’ exceptional skill, energy, and creativity.
