MPOWER Soft Skills Training for 2023-2027 Batch students
Vidya Academy of Science and Technology, Thrissur, is committed to moulding students into engineering professionals of international standards by imparting knowledge, skills, the right attitude, and professional ethics. In line with this vision, the campus offers experiential learning modules that focus on attitude tuning, grooming, effective communication, and leadership development. These sessions equip students with the confidence to face the corporate world.
As part of this initiative, students undergo practical training in resume preparation, group discussions, and interview techniques. The approach is fully hands on, with activities and tasks designed to strengthen skills under the guidance of expert trainers.
The flagship three day MPOWER Soft Skill training program, was conducted for all students of the 2027 graduating batch of B. Tech and MCA programs. The sessions were facilitated by two outstanding mentors and coaches, Mr. Krishna Kumar and Mrs. Mridula M, who provided personalized guidance to help students overcome inhibitions and unlock their inner potential.
The sessions were held between 23 October 2025 and 21 February 2026. The program received enthusiastic participation, with students actively engaging in activities that enhanced confidence, communication skills, and leadership qualities.
