| A press meet was held in connection with the upcoming SOAR 2026 (Students Orientation for Aspiration and Readiness) district-level education conclave, organized by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), scheduled to be held on 19 June 2026 at Thrissur. |

| Following the welcome address, Dr. Abhilasha P. S (Convener- SOAR 2026, HoD, CE Dept) who led the press conference, provided an overview of the event’s core objectives. She explained that the conclave aims to provide students, parents, and the general public with a comprehensive understanding of higher education opportunities and career pathways in technical education. Furthermore, the event is intended to serve as a vital platform to showcase the academic excellence, research contributions, and innovation-driven initiatives running under KTU.It was informed that around 12 engineering institutions from across Kerala will participate in the event. The conclave will feature exhibitions of innovative student projects, prototypes, incubated startups, and entrepreneurial ventures. Various academic departments of Vidya Academy will also present their research achievements, industry collaborations, and student accomplishments through dedicated exhibition stalls. |
