Leading the media briefing at the Press Club, Program Convenor Dr. Rakesh Hari officially announced the upcoming graduation details for Vidya Academy of Science and Technology. Delivering the core statement on behalf of the organizing committee, Dr. Rakesh confirmed that the convocation ceremony for the B.Tech, M.Tech, and MCA students of the 2022–2026 and 2024–2026 batches is scheduled to take place directly on the college campus, where 556 successful course completed graduates will be honored. Dr. Rakesh emphasized that the presence of such distinguished personalities underscores the scale of the ceremony.

Further highlighting the prestige of the upcoming event, the Program Convenor Dr. B. Premanand shared that the upcoming Graduation Ceremony would be honored by the presence of acclaimed entrepreneur, visionary, and Aries Group CEO, Sir Sohan Roy, serving as the Chief Guest. He noted that Sir Sohan Roy leads the Aries Group, a diversified global enterprise with interests spanning ship design, marine engineering, and media production. Widely acknowledged for his pioneering contributions to the maritime industry, particularly in innovative ship design and safety-focused engineering advancements, the Chief Guest’s journey is expected to serve as a profound source of inspiration for the graduating tech leaders. He explained that the highly anticipated Graduation Ceremony is officially set to be presided over by Mr. Gireesh Kumar Malattiri (Chairman,VICT) who will lead the day’s prestigious proceedings.
