CE HoD contributes as reviewer for International Conference on Structural Engineering and Construction Management (SECON)

Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the academic quality of conferences by evaluating research submissions and providing constructive feedback to authors

The Department of Civil Engineering, Vidya Academy of Science and Technology, Thalakottukara, Thrissur, proudly announces that  Dr. Abhilasha P. S. (Prof, HoD, CE Dept) served as a Reviewer for SECON’26, held from 03–05 June 2026.

The conference was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT), Ernakulam, Kerala, India, in collaboration with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) – Student Chapter, Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) – Student Chapter, Builders Association of India (BAI) – Angamaly Centre, Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) – FISAT Chapter, Institution of Engineers (India) – Kochi Local Centre, Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) – Kochi Centre, and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) – FISAT.

As a reviewer, Dr Abhilasha played a vital role in the peer-review process by critically evaluating submitted research papers for their originality, technical quality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the conference themes. Her expert evaluations and constructive feedback helped uphold the academic quality and integrity of the conference proceedings while enabling authors to strengthen and refine their research contributions.
