EEE Department promotes Power Awareness through KSEB Power Quiz
The Department of EEE has been conducting quiz competitions over the past years aimed at enhancing students’ knowledge and awareness in the field of power and energy systems, while providing them with an interactive platform to apply their learning beyond the classroom.
The department conducted a College-Level Energy Conservation Quiz on 08 September 2026 in association with the Kerala State Electricity Board Limited (KSEB Ltd.).
The quiz was conducted with the participation and support of officials from KSEB Ltd. Mr. Rijo C George (Secretary, KSEBEA Thrissur and Assistant Engineer, 110 kV Substation, Viyyur), Mr. Shahid V A (Treasurer, KSEBEA Thrissur and Assistant Engineer, TC Section 2, Thrissu) and Mr. Hareesh A D (Central Committee Member, EA and Assistant Engineer, Generation Circle, Thrissur)

Mr. Arun Xavier (Asst Prof-Sr Grade, EEE Dept) supported the KSEB officials in coordinating and conducting the quiz at the college.The college-level quiz provided students with an engaging platform to enhance their awareness of energy conservation, electricity, sustainable energy practices and the responsible use of electrical energy.The event also encouraged students to broaden their knowledge of the power sector through active participation and healthy competition.
