| As part of the Teachers’ Day celebrations, the Literary and Debate Club of VAST organized a Speech Competition on the theme “From Educators to Nation Builders: The Role of Teachers in Empowering Educators, Inspiring Learners and Shaping Viksit Bharat” for the students of the college on 11 September 2026. Designed to honor the spirit of learning and expression, the event provided an engaging platform for participants to articulate their ideas, sharpen their communication skills, and showcase their oratory talents. |
| The session commenced with an interaction by Ms. Kalyani Vijayakumar (Convener, Literary and Debate Club, Asst Prof, CE Dept) and Ms. Surabhi M. S (Convener-Literary and Debate Club, Asst Librarian). They encouraged the participants to make effective use of the platform and confidently demonstrate their ideas, creativity and public-speaking abilities.The competition witnessed active participation from 23 students who eloquently presented their perspectives on the designated theme. The event served as an intellectually stimulating platform and participants refined their public speaking abilities, gain audience engagement experienc and showcased their persuasive power in honor of Teachers’ Day.Ms. Kalyani and Ms. Surabhi served as judges and assessed the participants on content, delivery and overall impact. |
