Oracle APEX training by Oracle Academy Centre of Excellence

Oracle APEX is a leading low-code no-code application development platform from Oracle Corporation. APEX development platform is natively integrated into the Oracle Database. It enables developers, database administrators, and IT teams to build secure, scalable, and responsive web or mobile applications using a browser-based, visual interface.

As part of the Oracle Academy Centre of Excellence initiative, a one-day hands-on training workshop on Oracle APEX was organized on 28 October 2026.for students and faculty members through a joint effort between the Oracle Academy and Oracle APEX teams. The program commenced with a welcome address and an overview of the engagement by Mr. Paul Chakola (Head,Training and Placement), followed by introductory remarks and context setting by Ms. Neema Sanish (Program Manager,Oracle Academy (South Asia)), who introduced the resource persons. Handled by Mr. Santhosh Kumar (Senior Manager of Product Management for Oracle APEX) and Ms. Ankita Beri (Senior Product Manager for Oracle APEX),the interactive workshop provided participants with practical experience in application development, spanning fundamental basics to intermediate features.

A total of 202 final year and pre-final year students, and faculty members participated in this hands-on workshop held o The workshop has given sufficient impetus for the students to embark upon using APEX platform for their academic mini and major project works.
