VAST Electricity Dashboard

It is with immense pleasure that the Editorial Team of News & Events announces a golden milestone achieved by Mr. Arun Xavier (Asst Prof – Sr. Grade, EEE Dept) who has developed the VAST Electricity Dashboard, a web-based application designed to monitor and analyse the electricity consumption, generation and expenditure of the institution.The dashboard provides a consolidated view of electricity generation and consumption from DG sets (DG-1 and DG-2), three solar power plants with capacities of 15 kWp, 100 kWp and 120 kWp, and Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) electricity supply. It includes details of electricity import and export, tariff zones and Maximum Demand (MD) charges. By integrating all these data into a single platform, the dashboard enables effective monitoring and analysis of campus energy consumption, solar power generation and electricity expenditure.This initiative aims to enhance campus energy management, promote energy conservation and support informed institutional decision-making.
