Student leadership driving placement initiatives …

Federal Bank Ltd, a leading private sector, scheduled commercial bank headquartered in Aluva, Kochi, conducted a pooled campus recruitment drive (CRD) in Vidya campus for the 2019 pass out batch students during 5 – 6 February 2019. Nearly 800 candidates from various colleges participated in the drive.  As many as 534 B Tech students took the online test on 5 February 2019 and about 245 post-graduate students (M Tech and MCA) participated in the drive on 6 February 2019.

On the successful completion of the CRD by Fedreal Bank

The CRD by Federal Bank was executed with precision thanks to the excellent support provided by the various departments of the College and by the the team of student coordinators of placement activities. The Bank officials were happy that they could start the process on time and complete all their designated tasks for the day well ahead of time. On inquiry with the guests it was found that the following reasons contributed to the success of the event:

• Well maintained computer labs and committed lab staff which helped in the conduct of online assessments with clockwise precision.
• Availability of excellent internet and computer network, with strong IT support, which helped in the completion of the process without any hitch.
• Excellent support from the engineering department, administration, finance and accounts, along with the courteous demeanor of the security, canteen, cafeteria and all associated staff helped ease the tough work for both the participating students and the assessment team.
• However, by far, the greatest differentiator which made the event a success to the delight of the Bank officials  was the leadership and commitment of the student coordinators. They volunteered and gave their heart and soul to the work ahead of them to ensure prompt attention and timely delivery. This ensured that there was no delay or bottlenecks at any of the various stages in the recruitment process.
