NSS orientation programme for newly joined volunteers

The NSS units of Vidya organised an orientation programme for the newly joined volunteers of the NSS units on 29 September 2019. The programme commenced with an introductory session by Programme Officers Mr Anil Melepurath and Ms Neeraja A poduval. The orientation sessions were handled by the senior Volunteer Secretaries Vishnu P Chandran and Akshay Sanjay .

The aims of the orientation sessions were to impart the true spirit of NSS to the newly joined volunteers and to help them understand the true meaning of the NSS motto “NOT ME BUT YOU” and the NSS objective “PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT THROUGH COMMUNITY SERVICE”.
