NSS units celebrate Gandhi Jayanthi

As part of the Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations, the NSS units of Vidya organised a “Tagline Competition” among the volunteers. Volunteers were asked to prepare and send a suitable tagline for Swachh Bharat activities which were usually done on 2 October as part of Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations. Among the entries submitted, the tagline “Aadyapadi veetil ninnu” was selected as the best one and was used in the poster related to Gandhi Jayanthi activities. Due to the practical difficulties of organising Swachh Bharat activities at public places, volunteers were asked to clean a portion of their home itself and send photographs before and after cleaning the area. The photographs sent by volunteers were shared through social media platforms.
