“IEDC Meetup 2021”

The IEDC of Vidya had successfully conducted several online programmes after the outbreak of the Covid pandemic. For the first time after the outbreak of the pandemic, the IEDC organised an offline programme on 31 March 2021. It was named “IEDC Meetup 2021” and it was intended as an occasion for the IEDC members to interact with each other and to learn a few early lessons in ideation and idea pitching.

The program started with a prayer. Mr Anil M, Nodal Officer of IEDC,  gave the welcome address. Aakash M K, CEO of IEDC, gave a talk on entrepreneurship.

The participants were then divided into six teams and they were asked to prepare a write up on the problems of society and the teams were also directed to suggest solutions to the problems they had identified. All the six teams came up with very interesting great novel ideas. This was done to introduce the participants to the concepts of ideation and idea pitching.

Around 60 members of the IEDC participated in the event.
