ME students celebrate World Environment Day

In a unique initiative, students of Mechanical Engineering Department celebrated the World Environment Day (WED) on  5th June. To mark the day, the students of the department distributed saplings to senior functionaries of the College and VICT and also to various departments of the College. The program was inaugurated by the principal of the college, Dr. Sudha Balagopal. The programe effectively conveyed the message that “Technology is meaningless if away from nature.” The programme was also intended to highlight the WED theme for this year, namely. “‘Connecting People to Nature – in the city and on the land, from the poles to the equator.”
