I2P Makers’ Workshop on 5th to 7th Oct’16-Event

Ms. Swapana E.V.M, ED Club & StartUp Convenor attended I2P Makers’ Workshop organized by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University(KTU) in association with Federal Institute of Science & Technology(FISAT).Workshop was from 5th, 6th & 7th October 2016. Honourable Vice Chancellor KTU,Dr. Kuncheria P. Isaac inaugurated the workshop on 5th October.

The participants was be trained in Google SketchUp, 3D printing technology etc. This workshop provided an opportunity to experience real time challenges in different stages of product development such as problem identification, feasibility study, prototyping, testing, market survey, Talk by entrepreneur etc. The workshop will gave an opportunity to think as Entrepreneur and create an innovative product

There will be a followup product presentation on October 22th, 2016 by the participants. Out of 8 teams, One of the new product ideas selected was “Smart Lock System” given by Ms. Swapana E.V.M from the group team SIRN SOLUTIONS Ltd.
