VSEC Student Volunteer exhibits her capacity as Resource Person
Vidya Social empowerment Center (VSEC) always tries to bring out the best version of the students by providing them the best platform to showcase their talents .
With this aim VSEC organised an internal talk on “Dopehead Identification” on 29 October 2022.The session was handled by Sreelakshmi S (S5, ECE Dept).
The anchoring was done by Sinan Sulaiman (S3, ME Dept).The program started with a prayer by Vedika M (S3, CSE Dept) followed by an introduction about VSEC by Sangamesh(S3, ECE Dept) and introduction about the resource person by Mohamed Hashim (S3, ME Dept)
The session was then started by Sreelakshmi S where she explained how the percentage of drug addicts are increasing in our society and most of them are teenagers She elucidated the 23 Symptoms of a Dopehead and what can we do when we spot such a person and how can we help such people to get rid from this kind of addiction . She demonstrated the complete presentation in a gripping manner.
Er P K Ashokan (Chief Patron, VICT), gave his valuable inputs and appreciated the resource person for conducting the session in such an informative manner and he even encouraged the other VSEC volunteers to come forward and showcase their talent .
Then the feedback for session was given by Ms Jucy Vareed,( Asst Prof, CSE Dept) , Mr Midhun Joshy(S3, EEE Dept) and Sanjo Rejin (S5, ECB Dept). Dr Siju K C (Head of VSEC and Asst Prof, AS Dept) finally concluded the session by her feedbacks and remarks. The participants included 27 VSEC Student Volunteers and 10 Faculty Members. Overall the session was quite descriptive and was explained perfectly.
