CSE Dept conducts Placement Awareness Session 

Every job necessitates combination of workplace skills and technical skills, and chances that are already built an remarkable skill set resulting from education .

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering,VAST Conducted a placement session on LEARNING CURVE TO CRACK HIGH PROFILE JOBS For Parents and students of S7 CSE (2020-2024 BATCH). The session was handled by Mr Soni P (Assistant Professor , GEC Thrissur) .It was really useful for knowing the wide range of opportunities after BTech and the path to achieve high salary jobs.The session could make the parents and students to be aware of the placement processes of companies like SOTI.TCS,Cignizant etc. Students get motivated by the experiences shared by the speaker about the high salary paid senior pass out students.Dr.Ramani Bai (HoD CSE Dept ) addressed the parents and students and shared the importance of preparing for the upcoming placement drives seriously.

Mr. Paul Chakola (Head of Training and Placement Cell)  interacted with the parent and answered the queries of parents and students about the placement drive which would be conducted at Vidya campus. They enquired about the procedures of Applying and attending the drives. Parents also interacted with the S7 GTs and monitored the academic status of their ward and enquired about the improvements that should make in them.Over all the programme was a motivation for the students to prepare for the placement drives and parents to support their ward in the progress of academics and placements.
