‘Arise’- the special camp for HSS students concluded with immense fervor

With an aim to connect the younger minds to allow and improve them to be globally capable with the quality of leadership, ‘Vidya hosted a pre-camp orientation program ‘Arise’ for Higher Secondary School (HSS) students from Thrissur district during 13 – 23 August 2023.

Mr Jalil Adoor (Thrissur District Panchayat Member) inaugurated the camp on 13 August 2023. The camp was graced by the presence and inspiring speech delivered by Dr Jacob John (NSS Programme Co- ordinator, HSE)

More than 600 students from 5 different sessions have attended  the camp for interactive learning and exposure. The participants displayed their talent in cultural programmes and the performances such as dance, song, and orchestra were a visual treat to the spectators. The camp was thrived with the presence of a range of professionals from different walks of life.

In the valedictory session, Dr Saji C B (Principal) addressed the participants and encouraged them to earnestly contribute and dedicate their mind and soul in the activities including that of academic and non academic. The Principal also highlighted to perform their leadership skills and attain additional life skills, in essence to learn how to make a contribution at society.

Mr Anil Melepurath (IEDC Nodal Officer, Asst Prof, ECE Dept) co-ordinated the activities.
