EEE students win first prize in National level Project Expo ‘Engenius’

Vidya students explore abundant opportunities to improve their spectrum of knowledge ad receiving prizes and recognitions .

Bio Natural Club had invited final year EEE students Abhishek S Nair (S8, EEE Dept), Gokul P (S8, EEE Dept), Rishikesh Krishnan K (S8, EEE Dept) and Sanju P Joju (S8, EEE Dept) to present their final year project, ‘Forest Fire Detection Module’ as part of World Environment Day celebration on 05 June 2024 at Asurakund Dam Range.

The latest into this array is their achievement in a Project Expo ‘Engenius’, a National Project Expo organized by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Ettimadai in which they bagged first prize in Electrical and Electronics Engineering for their project ‘Forest Fire Detection Module’

The event was conducted in 3 rounds. First two rounds were online and the third round was held at the campus. More than 500 projects were registered for the first round out of which 120 projects were selected for the second round. 60 projects were shortlisted from that for direct presentation.
