HS and HSS students unleash their potential with innovative projects at Sci – Π – Project Exhibition

The Sci Pi – project exhibition organized by Vidya bestows a varied hands on experience to children,wherein they could transform the theoretical scientific ideology into the mode of application. he event has become a highlight in this era when the need for professionals skilled in science, technology, mathematics, and other creative fields is more relevant.

A platform that witnessed great enthusiasm and blooming participation from students of diverse classes, who had the unique occasion of exploring as well as conveying their inventive precise ideas in the form of activities, models and projects  at ‘‘ Exhibition cum Competition held on 09 January 2025.

The event 

The students exhibited their creative scientific prospective in different fields revolving around the themes of current significance, namely, Health, Robotics , communication engineering sciences, Agriculture , computational thinking, environment-friendly lifestyle, , transportation food security, Sources of energy, Transport, Disaster Management,. energy conservation etc Students were at their innovative best as they designed their own projects  to unique designs for various aspects.

With the vibrant participation of more than 300 students for more than 130 projects, the exhibition didn’t not only provide the chance to participants  to execute their scientific ideas but also gave them the platform to display their ideas. Apart from models, the students also offered  visual presentation to understand the concepts of their working models.

Based on the feedback and suggestive ideas of the judging panel members, Cash prizes worth 65K with certificates were distributed by Dr Sunitha C (Principal) and Dr Nisha A B (VIBE Convener, Asso Prof, App Sc Dept), the children gained a wider and a newer perspective on further development of their model or project. The students also got the unique experience of demonstrating and explaining their ideas to a wide variety of audience which further enhanced their confidence, communication and inter personal skills, overall, a boost to their personality.
