IEDC student conducts Orientation Session on YIP 7.0 at Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur

The  Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Center (IEDC) takes several initiatives  to inspire  students  and embrace the opportunities provided by YIP with various sessions. Young Innovators Programme (YIP) is a flagship initiative of the Kerala Development Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC).

Sinan Sulaiman (Chief Social Officer of the IEDC VAST, S8,ME Dept) conducted an orientation session on the Young Innovators Programme (YIP) 7.0 at Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur on 14 January 2025

 The session, held from 9:30 AM to 12:00 noon, introduced students to the objectives and framework of YIP 7.0. Sinan, who was recently selected as a YIP 7.0 Intern, provided an insightful overview of how participants can effectively utilise the problem shelf available on the YIP website, collaborate to form teams, and complete their submissions. His interactive presentation style engaged the attendees and encouraged active participation.

Dr. Kanakachandran C. R (Assistant Professor,Department of Commerce,Sree Krishna College) co-ordinated the event. The attendees included students from the Commerce and Economics departments, who enthusiastically participated and gained valuable knowledge about the programme.

Sinan’s expertise and experience as a YIP 7.0 Intern added significant value to the session, The orientation session received positive feedback and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in fostering creativity and problem-solving skills among students.
