Study aboard opportunities for 2021 – 25 batch students
An awareness session on how to go about approaching for studies aboard was conducted for the benefit of the final year students of the 2021 – 25 batch students. The online session conducted by SGE Consultants was delivered by M Rukmaa Prabhu and was assisted by Mr. Jay Rege. The workshop was held on 12 February 2025 in the evening using the Zoom platform through Infosys Springboard.
Ms. Rukmaa highlighted the benefits of studying aboard and then shared the nuances of study at various countries across the globe. Highlights included:
- Country specific factors broadly the attraction points and prevailing conditions.
- Country specific likely course fees, living expenses.
- Country specific regulations for work, stay back, and for permanent residency.
- Country wise likely salary and preferred domains.
Mr. Rege who joined in from Mumbai, facilitated the session and focused on query resolutions. Ms. Rukmaa concluded the session highlighting the reality for international student success i.e. “what the student think it is” via-a-vis “what actually it is”.
