S4 Civil Engineering students visit the construction site of a Shopping Complex
As part of their academic curriculum and practical exposure to real-world engineering practices, S4 Civil Engineering students visited an ongoing construction site of a shopping complex located at Kechery,Wadakkanchery Road, Thrissur on 11 March 2025.
The visit provided students with valuable insights into actual construction activities, enhancing their understanding of theoretical concepts learned in the classroom. On the day of the visit, ready-mix concrete work for the second-floor slab was in progress. Students had the opportunity to closely observe various site operations and understand the workflow involved in multi-storey commercial construction.
The site visit was facilitated under the guidance of Mr. Jayaprakash K A (Site Engineer).Dr. Abhilasha P S (HoD, CE Dept) and Ms. Ponsy Paul (Asst Prof, CE Dept) accompanied the students, ensuring an informative and safe learning experience.
