With immense pride and pleasure, the Dept of AIML is sharing the news that a paper titled “Understanding Similes in Text: A Survey of Machine Learning and Deep Learning Approaches for Figurative Language Recognition” jointly presented by Ms. Manjusha P. D (Asst Prof, AIML Dept) and O.Varadha Vijay Menon (S6, AIML) at the 3rd International Conference on Intelligent Techniques in Computer and Engineering Science (ITCES’25), held at the College of Engineering Perumon, Kollam, during 10–11 March 2025
This collaborative research work explores innovative methodologies employing Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) models to enhance the recognition and interpretation of figurative language in text, with a specific focus on similes.
