Champion on the world stage: Vidya alumnus Mr S Vipin Kumar adds glory with Team India’s Gold at World Masters Handball Championship

Vidya  is immensely proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our esteemed alumnus, Mr S Vipin Kumar (2004-08 Batch EEE Dept) who proudly represented India at the World Masters Games Handball Championship 2025, held from May 17 in Taipei and New Taipei City, Taiwan. Fueled by determination and teamwork, the Indian team triumphed over China to bring the trophy home –  an achievement accomplished through resilience, focus, and love for the game.

Team India scripts history with a 13–11 win over China, celebrating their first-ever international handball victory at the World Masters Games 2025.The triumph was made even more special by the contribution of Mr Vibin, whose dedication and performance brought honor to his alma mater and underlined India’s growing presence in international handball.
