Empowering Future Leaders – Participation of NSS Volunteer Secretaries in Training
With an aim to strengthen their understanding of NSS functioning and equip them with strategies for planning and executing impactful social service initiatives, the NSS Volunteer Secretaries of Vidya participated in the Thrissur, Palakkad & North Region Training Camp 2025–26, held on 19–20 July 2025 at Thejus Engineering College, Thrissur.
The Volunteer Secretaries Harikrishnan K (S5, ME Dept), Alanteena C. A (S5, EEE ), Manu K M (S5 EEE Dept), Sonu Sunny (S5, ME Dept), Niranjan Agnivesh K B (S5, ME Dept), Rashmi V R (S5, ECE Dept), Godwin C Baiju (S5, ME Dept) and Anamika Sebastian (S5, ECE Dept) from Vidya attended the two-day training programme.
The main training sessions were led by Shri Brahma Nayakam Mahadevan, an internationally renowned motivational trainer. His sessions emphasized unleashing personal leadership potential, cultivating a service-oriented mindset, and strengthening communication and teamwork among volunteers. His dynamic and inspiring approach created an engaging learning environment and left a lasting impact on all participants.
Alongside the keynote sessions, the camp featured team-building activities, planning discussions, and peer interactions, which further enriched the participants’ understanding of their roles and enhanced their leadership capabilities.
The enthusiastic participation of Vidya’s Volunteer Secretaries reflects their commitment to the values of NSS and their readiness to lead meaningful service initiatives within and beyond the campus.
