NSS beautification effort at Wadakkanchery District Hospital
To reaffirm their commitment to public service and environmental responsibility, the NSS units of Vidya successfully conducted a cleaning and beautification drive at Wadakkanchery District Hospital on 24 July 2025.
A group of enthusiastic NSS volunteers actively participated in the initiative, which focused on cleaning open areas, removing weeds and waste, and improving the overall appearance of the hospital premises. Volunteers cleaned the surroundings, organized outdoor spaces, and ensured proper disposal of waste materials. The beautification efforts also included arranging unused equipment neatly, leveling uneven ground surfaces, and restoring a clean and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
This activity aimed to promote hygiene and environmental consciousness while supporting the hospital in maintaining a healthier and more pleasant public space.
The programme was carried out smoothly under the leadership of the NSS Volunteer Secretaries,Harikrishnan K (S5 ME Dept), Godwin C Baiju (S5 ME Dept), Sonu Sunny (S5, ME Dept), and Rashmi V R (S5, ECE Dept).
The initiative was effectively guided by Mr. Ranjith E R (NSS Programme Officer Asst Prof, ME Dept) and Ms. Delmy David V (NSS Programme Officer Asst Prof, CSE Dept).
