EEE faculty member excels in NPTEL Biomimicry Course

Ms. Sheeja G  (Asst Prof, EEE Dept) successfully completed the NPTEL Online Certification Course on “Introduction to Biomimicry” offered during July–September 2025.

The 8-week certification programme, coordinated under NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) — a joint initiative of the IITs and IISc — was conducted by IIT Madras. The course was facilitated by eminent faculty members Prof. Shiva Subramaniam, Prof. Sivakumar Srinivasan, Prof. Satya Seshadri, and Prof. Mrinalini, who provided in-depth insights into how nature’s principles inspire sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.

By excelling in this course, Ms. Sheeja has demonstrated her strong commitment to continuous academic growth, interdisciplinary learning, and research excellence.
