VSEC orientation session for staff members
Vidya Social Empowerment Center (VSEC), under Vidya International Charitable Trust works towards creating an inclusive society. Through transformative educational initiatives and awareness programs, VSEC enables individuals and strengthens communities.
An orientation session for VSEC staff members was organized on 19 September 2025 to highlight the core values of adaptability, ownership, and the vision of VSEC, aiming to instill a sense of responsibility, proactive behavior, and alignment with the institution’s mission
Led by Ms. Akhila R (VSEC Staff Member, Asst Prof, EEE Dept),the session on efficiency stressed the need for adaptability and proactive adjustment to dynamic academic and professional contexts. Strategies were discussed to help students manage challenges effectively and turn them into opportunities for growth.Participants were encouraged to take responsibility for their actions, learning, and overall development. Ms. Akhila presented examples and activities to emphasize accountability in both personal and professional context.
Dr. Siju K. C (Head, VSEC and Asso. Prof, AS Dept) in her session, elaborated on the previous and ongoing activities of VSEC and highlighted areas for improvement. She presented the institution’s vision and core values, emphasizing their relevance in academic and community contexts. The session included discussions on how students can actively contribute to upholding and advancing VSEC’s mission.She also gave the presentation of the wing in-charges along with their defined roles and responsibilities.The session was co ordinated by Ms. Surabhi M S (Asst Librarian) under the guidance of Dr. Siju K. C (Head, VSEC and Asso. Prof, AS Dept)
